The ritual of Aperitivo was born in Venice over 250 years ago and quickly grew in popularity all over Italy and beyond, everywhere from intimate cafes to vibrant piazzas.
“Cicchetti” – small dishes of snacks such as olives and canapes, are served alongside Aperol Spritz, who’s bittersweet flavours stimulate the appetite.

Here are our top tips to help you create an Aperitivo moment that your guests won’t forget.

 

– Create a small ‘Aperitivo’ menu or section at the top of your menu to highlight your offer for early evening / pre-dinner e.g. 5-7pm.
